A police commander looking into the scenario claimed that the man who had been detained on suspicion of raping and murdering a dentist in a hospital in Kolkata returned to his home and slept before washing his clothes the following morning to destroy facts.
The officers, however, found signs of blood on the foot of Sanjoy Roy, a political charity who is not associated with the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, but used to regular the area.
A post-graduate trainee’s body was discovered on Friday night in a hospital seminar hall after being allegedly raped and murdered. On Saturday, the political voluntary was detained.

According to the initial examination statement, the victim was reportedly bleeding from her eyes, lips, and private areas. There were also wounds on her left knee, neck, correct hand, ring hand and mouth.
Another police officer claimed that anecdotal evidence also suggested that the physician might have been murdered and therefore raped.
“We are even talking to people who worked from Thursday night until the following day. CCTV footage is also being checked”, the policeman official said.
According to a police source, a team of SIT police officers and the criminal component on Sunday collected examples from the hospital’s seminar hall.
The officer claimed that the officers even reconstruct the murder scene despite the absence of the arrested suspect.

After the conference with Goyal, a young doctor announced that all crisis and non-emergency services would continue to operate.

Nevertheless, Kolkata Police deployed a large force at the clinic on Sunday.
“No one will be allowed inside the hospital facilities without proper identification. We may ensure complete safety of the health staff in the clinical establishment”, the official said.
According to another official, the hospital’s security personnel who were lawfully employed on the emergency room were fired because they failed to discharge their tasks properly, which in turn led to the doctor’s arrest.
