The Princess of Wales, who has battled cancers since being diagnosed, may recall that the world has seen her at Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

Her dress must be carefully selected. Elegant, substantial and uplifting, but not so strong that it would take focus from the King. No pressure next.

The Princess is an expert at navigating dress codes for proper royal engagements, and she continues to do so. As, it seems, does the ability of her lengthy- time designer- assistant.

She chose a white Jenny Packham dress with dark cut at the neck, paired with a new light saucer-shaped hat from Philip Treacy, a dark Mulberry brake bag, and bright stiletto Jimmy Choo judges.

Since she wore the dress during the King’s Coronation weekend in May 2023, it has undergone some modifications, including a black and white striped arrow at the right part of her neck, which resembled Audrey Hepburn’s in My Fair Lady. Additionally, a fresh bright line was added to the waistband’s black band.

On the left, she wore the British Guards Regimental Brooch. Cassandra Goad’s crystal and gemstone flower earrings are her most notable purchase, which she most recently wore for Prince Louis’s baptism in 2018.

The Princess’s clothing suggests a smile of support and honor for the king on his official birthday by choosing a item that was worn only during the festivities surrounding the King’s Coronation. It has the intention to turn its attention up on him.

Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis all accompanied their family on the balcony and in the vehicle. The Princess likes a planned look, and Saturday was no exception, as we have seen from other families.

Nine-year-old with bright tubing and a bow at the front, almost the same as her family’s, but not so matchy-matchy that it appeared quirky. has previously been dressed in sailor-inspired outfits for formal occasions, but this time the six-year-old wore a double-breasted jacket with shorts and knee-high socks, an age-appropriate version of his older son’s suit. Both kings wore matching orange relationships.

The rest of the Royal home, out in force to honor His Majesty who has also been receiving cancer care, did some impressive fashion. The Queen wore a pale green velvet silk dress and cover by Anna Valentine, a custom she has worked with for decades and who designed her wedding dress for her wedding to the King in 2005. A hat by Philip Treacy completed the look.

On such a cloudy and rainy day, The Duchess of Edinburgh was likely to have a sunny shade of yellow as her official attire. She wore a new Beulah dress, a matching Jane Taylor hat, and Giulia Barela’s gold drop earrings.

Her daughter, Lady Louise, 20, wore a Suzannah dress featuring an iris motif by French artist Rachel Levy, teamed with a Jane Taylor hat that had been borrowed from her mother.

The best accessories though? The smiles all round, which, after a difficult first half of the year, was gratifying to see. Particularly that of the, telling the world: “I’m happy to be back.”
