Kate, 42, wore a white Jenny Packham dress with long sleeves, slim black tubing at the waist, neck, and an enormous bow on her lapel to the annual birthday parade. The Princess of Wales added a light Philip Treacy headpiece, pearl rings, light pump and a black brake to complete the look. Kate also donned an Irish Guards Regimental necklace, which nods to the fleet’s Colonel in Chief. (Among the British troops present at the parade were the Irish Guards.)

Eagle-eyed royal watchers were shocked to learn that Kate’s Jenny Packham costume appeared to have been recycled. At one of King Charles II I’s coronation celebrations in May 2023, the princess wore a similar structured white gown from the company. The gown was at the moment with thick, black belts at her waist and thin, dark piping around the neckline.
