Though Component 2 featured a six- second sexual field,

Despite the fact Part 2 of Simone's series Bridgerton featured a six-minute sex scene between Nicola Coughlan (pictured) and Luke Newton, some fans and critics were left unimpressed

‘Steamy this is not,’ she said. ‘Watching it is similar to watching two youth stumbling through a tight snag.’

Because Netflix waited until the last two of its last two on Thursday to release its main fall, critics’ opinions on element two were largely limited to episode five and six.

Vicky gave piece two a scathing two- star assessment, as she asked:’ Is Bridgerton losing its feel?’

Reviews of Bridgerton, third part, third part

Rating:

Vicky Jessop: ‘Steamy this is not. It’s similar to watching two teenagers stumbling their way through a challenging situation. Is Bridgerton losing its way? Francesca’s love affair with Lord John Stirling is snooze- worthy – all those painful silences! Yes, we get it, they’re shy!’

Rating:

Anita Singh: ‘Aside from Penelope’s heaving bosom, though, this third series remains a dud. Her extensive sex scene with Colin has a cringe-making quality, akin to EL James’ Fifty Shades, with all the terrible dialogue but none of the nipple clamps. Away from the main couple, the plot barely exists.’

Rating:

Kate Rosseinsky: “The wheels are starting to come off the Bridgerton carriage, and the final two episodes will need to be fairly dramatic to re-start things.”

Rating:

Christopher Stevens: ‘Stars Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton have been for weeks that this time, in two newly released episodes, Bridgerton goes all the way. And they weren’t fibbing… though, for such an explicit sex scene, it was also oddly chaste.’

Rating:

Carol Midgley: ‘I call Bridgerton the “toffs, t**s and titles” show, but here another t- word is at play — tenderness. For all the heaving they do, Coughlan’s breasts ought to receive some sort of honor. Good lord, they’re up and down in those frocks like a pair of airbags.’

Aramide Timudu: “Polin’s primary sex scene, which features a full-length mirror and a chaise lounge, is one of the sexiest things seen on television since Bridgerton Season 1,” is one of the sexiest things since. This mirror section is incredibly intoxicating and beautifully done, despite the fact that viewers may still be upset about the lack of sensual activity on screen.
