While out with her four-year-old child Callum, she drew her budding baby bump in a decorative maternity dress during this week’s outing.
The 43- yr- ancient shares Callum with, and even has a 10- year- older daughter called Everly by her ex- husband.
Temple and Dewan have recently been in the news for their legal dispute over his Magic Mike movie company earnings.
But, when Dewan was spotted out and about with Callum on Friday, court troubles seemed unimportant to her.
As her brother scurried down with her, she kept a close eye on him and put a finger on his shoulder as he sped past the parking lot.
Jenna is expecting her second child with Steve, and she also has girl Everly with her ex-boyfriend Turner.
Tatum’s attorney filed a lawsuit against Dewan’s demands for a larger share of the profits from his “billion buck” Magic Mike movies and lived shows last month following her latest sighting.
Dewan was asking the court to “bifurcate” the former couple’s dispute over money from the beautiful male stripper franchise, which she claims has received half of since the couple was still married.
If her request was granted, it may mean that their disagreement over Magic Mike’s multi-million dollar issue would be decided at a demo on its own, with issues for child support and marriage help being dealt with in a different test.
Tatum vehemently opposed the split, accusing Dewan of using delay tactics to delay the resolution of our financial settlement and to demand a windfall from me.
But last month at LA Superior Court – where neither star showed up – Dewan’s attorney, Samantha Spector, countered: ‘We are not delaying at all.’
‘My client wants this to go forward. We only want to try it “first,” with the Magic Mike problem being dealt with first.’
The Magic Mike intellectual property was acquired by the couple, and it constitutes community property.
Tatum’s attorney, Kristina Royce- Grotzinger, conceded to Judge David Wasserman Wednesday that ‘there’s no dispute that the Magic Mike intellectual property was created during the marriage.’
She added, however, that considering “all the work Tatum put in” on Magic Mike after Dewan and he broke up was crucial.
On May 15, Judge Wasserman decided not to rule on the Magic Mike split.
Instead, he scheduled a meeting to discuss their disagreements for October 3 at which time.
If there isn’t an agreement, they will move forward to a trial readiness conference on November 15 to decide whether to accept the request for bifurcation or to leave it to the judge who will preside over the trial to decide the outcome.
Dewan accuses Tatum of “invoking a half share of the intellectual property rights to Magic Mike” in court documents and claims in those documents that she is entitled to a half share of the rights to Magic Mike.
She claims that her ex-boyfriend had a covert plot with others to conceal his money from her in Magic Mike, and that he unilaterally transferred some of those intellectual property rights to a different company after their breakup without her knowledge or consent.
Tatum refutes her accusations, saying that Dewan has always agreed to have an interest in Magic Mike intellectual property and related entities.
‘I have never denied ( Dewan ) her share of any community assets or income. Her claims that I have “colluded with third parties” are completely false are.’
She has had full access to all of our financial records for our engagement and separation. I’ll continue to send her information regarding Magic Mike financial issues.
Despite years of legal battles, issues like the couple’s 10-year-old daughter Everly’s support, division of assets, spousal support, and child support for their 10-year-old daughter remain unresolved despite the couple’s official divorce in November 2019.
Dewan is currently engaged to singer and actor Steve Kazee, and Tatum is engaged to 35-year-old actress Zoe Kravitz.
The first film, based on Tatum’s own prior experiences as a stripper in Florida, was the start of the Magic Mike success story. He and the film’s director, Steven Soderbergh, co- financed the project.
Their $7million investment turned into a blockbuster, earning $167 million worldwide. Then came two more movies, followed by weekend-long striptease shows that have also had a lot of success.
At a hearing last month, Dewan’s attorney, Spector, described the Magic Mike business as ‘a potential billion dollar asset.’
Tatum’s attorney Jacqueline Combs claims that Dewan and Tatum had already separated, and that the Magic Mike franchise made the majority of their money.
Tatum claims that Dewan has not made any efforts to improve the Magic Mike intellectual property despite spending money, time, and effort into making the Magic Mike brand a success.
‘Contrary to Dewan’s allegations, I have only acted in the best interest of the community throughout our marriage and since separation.’
I have made significant post-divorce efforts to protect the Magic Mike intellectual property, and I have also given my name and likeness a license to the related business.
I think these post-diversification efforts not only give rise to my separate property claims against those assets, but they also have benefited the neighborhood.
‘Without my post- separation efforts, the Magic Mike entities would have failed.’
As for Dewan’s claim that he’s been secretly hiding money in a trust, Tatum adds: ‘She is wrong.’
‘Dewan and I created an irrevocable trust to invest in a number of businesses, leaving Everly as the sole beneficiary. This was done with Dewan’s knowledge and involvement.’
Tatum is also against paying spousal support to his former wife, saying: ‘I do not believe ( Dewan’s ) request for spousal support is appropriate.’
We were married for eight years and eight months, and we divorced more than six years ago.
‘Dewan started co- habiting with her fiancé ( Steve Kazee ) shortly after our separation five and a half years ago … …’
Dewan works, has the means to support herself, and will receive the majority of the community’s property, royalties, residuals, and other investment income.
She will also earn a sizable amount of money from the money she received during our divorce. She has received millions in cash assets.
When the remainder of our estate is divided up and the finalized post-divorce accounting is finished, “She will receive additional cash assets.”
‘There are not, nor have there ever been, any orders for temporary spousal support.’
She is now reportedly requesting spousal support from me, which further delays our financial settlement, according to me.
