The wedding weekend began with a “cowboy cocktail delightful day” at the Crescent Club in Downtown Dallas the night before the big event. “That position holds but many cherished family thoughts, it was the perfect place to begin our celebration,” Hassie says. “We actually went all out with the theme, turning the team into an older- time Northern bar complete with a mariachi band, Texas flowers, and a wonderful DJ.”
Family members and friends stepped up as the evening progressed to deliver sandwiches and tell stories that made friends cry from laughing to weeping ( and up again ). Given the huge day ahead, it was probably a little later than we should have planned, but it set the tone for the rest of the weekend, according to Hassie. “It was the best way to start our wedding ceremonies, surrounded by all the people we love in a setting that felt like house,” said the couple.
Before the couple took photos with their bridal party, Hassie got set with her three daughters at their family home the day of the ceremony. Hassie recalls that “the atmosphere was so calm and enjoyable that it entirely eased any senses I had.”
Ahead of the festival, all was greeted in the hall and lawn with shots of Bingham’s Bourbon—a love venture turned wine brand founded by Ryan. Guests subsequently moved to a gorgeous church- style tented greenhouse, constructed over the existing swimming for the ceremony. “It was strange to see our community home transformed into the place for our ceremony,” Hassie remembers. “Nathan and his team outdid themselves, making sure every aspect reflected Ryan’s and my character and passion account.” A suspended flowering therapy anchored the altar in the center aisle leading to the system.
The woman’s marriage group was made up of their closest friends and family—including Hassie’s three daughters and some of Ryan’s oldest and beloved companions, who over the years have become an extension of his home. The bridal party was followed by Ryan’s three kids, who served as the flower girl and ring bearer as well as walking their dog down the aisle. “They were like a big part of this day,” Hassie says. “The party truly felt perfect in every way because of the joy on their faces,” they said.
