One of the most memorable scenes from the Twilight movie series was when Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) and Edward (played by Robert Pattinson), both of whom, were in the 2011 film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1, were interacted with. Bella walked down the aisle in a classic wedding gown that was appropriate for the occasion, a Carolina Herrera long-sleeved silk velvet dress with an empty fabric again. To this day, Stewart also holds that dress in great respect.

The artist reflected on the cloth and the day she first donned it on March 15, 2024. “I love that clothing so much”, she gushed. “I can recall getting into it. Because I was hidden in a room with heaters and I was like,” It’s too hot in here, and,” I felt like getting into a real wedding dress. And they’re like,’ Well, we’re not going to be prepared for another 30 days. ‘It was like,’ But I’m available today. This is the moment I have the opportunity to enjoy the wedding.

Stewart, who is engaged to a man right now, revealed that when she first imagined a wedding ceremony, she often imagined a standard dress, similar to the one her character wore in the movie. “I think if I were to ever do a traditional wedding dress, this is kind of the one”, she admitted. However, she noted that for her wedding to Meyer, she isn’t going to choose a frock in that particular style.

For Bella’s bridal gown, Stephanie Meyer, the author of the Twilight line, sought out marital developer. Being a huge fan of The Twilight Saga, she told Vogue in 2011: I was quite happy to be a part of this amazing project. The artist knew the piece “had to get magical,” she said when asked to create it.

After conceptualizing and executing Bella’s bridal gown, Herrera said the first appropriate, when Stewart initially tried on the dress, was a magical experience for the artist. “When Kristen put the clothing on and looked in the mirror, she was quite moved”, she recalled to the release. “In that time, she was not an artist or a figure in a movie, she was a bride—and a joyful one at that”.

Stephanie was pleased with the finished item because it matched and exceeded her aspirations, just like Stewart. “I wanted the clothing to be something special, not something that you’re going to view every day”,. “I adore what Carolina did with it. She came up with a magnificent idea. It’s comparable to what I envisioned but with added factors.”
