Mango’s growth strategy for the UK and Ireland includes the new store openings.

13 business openings, mostly in the north and center of the UK, are anticipated by the Spanish retailer in 2023.

Mango noted that the new business at the Trafford Centre, the third-largest shopping mall in the UK, only sells the Woman range and has a selling space of about 400m2.

Mango’s New Mediterranean-inspired business idea, which aims to capture the spirit and beauty of the brand, is featured in both the new UK Trafford center store and the Ireland Cork store.

The Cork business, which is already present in the company’s primary lineup stores, is the first in Ireland, according to the Spanish retailer.

Mango has added eco-efficient light and temperature control, as well as a design that incorporates green materials like natural ink, because conservation and structural integration are essential to this idea.

Mango emphasized that the Cork street business only sells its Woman range and has a 360m2 sales area.

Between 2004 and 2008, the fashion store had a presence in Ireland. But, this time, Mango is relocating to the structure that once housed the ancient Savoy cinema in St. Patrick’s Street, which is the main shopping area of the city.

Daniel Lopez, the company and growth director for Mango, said that “our arrival for the first time with our own company store in Cork will strengthen our brand and help us develop it abroad.”

Since 1998, Mango has been operating in Ireland. By the end of 2022, the firm had 16 stores there in addition to an online presence via its own net route and other marketplaces.

Mango has been operating in the UK since 1999 and has 53 locations as of 2022, including businesses, company-owned stores, and department store edges. Through its own net channel and other markets, it also has an online existence.

As part of a larger digital transformation strategy, Mango introduced Lisa, its own linguistic relational AI platform, last month to assist staff in enhancing the creation of its collections and its after-sales service.

At the time, Jordi Lex, Mango’s chairman of technology, data, protection, and surveillance, stated: “Generative artificial intelligence is an extended intelligence, in other words, a technology that will act as co-pilot for our employees and stakeholders. That will help us expand our capacities, because technology will either make us more people or will be of no use.”
