A Leesburg man was detained after allegedly beating his ex-fiance when they attempted to cut off their bridal gown.
Officers responded to a residence around 2 a. m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
Before the introduction of rules police, the bride-to-be advised that 44-year-old Garry Wayne Bach was the person who battered her and was grabbing his possessions to leave the scene. According to the report, the officers managed to communicate with him via the personal drive that led to the house.
Around 1:30 a.m., Bach claimed to be lying in bed after giving the sufferer access to his Ring camera because she had seen a picture of him leaving to go to work about 2 a.m. when she began screaming at him. She told him the marriage was out, ran to the house, grabbed a weapon, and headed for the apartment closet to split up her wedding dress. The couple was scheduled to get married that day, according to the document.
When his bride-to-be started to cut up her wedding gown, Bach jumped out of bed and headed toward the bedroom. She refused him the outfit. While he held the clothing in one side, his fiancé started swinging at him to try to grab it out of his fingers, the statement said.
She repeatedly struck him before striking herself in the face. As he blocked the single doorway to the bedroom and bathroom place, he was “pinned” inside the bedroom. She continued to bounce about 10 days, striking herself above the eye area, the statement said.

The target advised that at about 2 a. m., she and Bach were arguing over their wedding preparations. She climbed into the house and retrieved her wedding dress with a knife. According to the report, Bach inquired about what she had in her jammies when she returned to the room, and she then removed the blade and threw it toward the bedroom, a position they had previously held.
Bach smacked her face with his hands as she attempted to use the restroom to access the drawer to access the wedding gown. He pushed her away from the dress again she entered the closet entrance. According to the report, he began striking her in the face, and she then fell to the floor inside the drawer.
The fiancé responded by hitting Bach in the neck. According to the report, he then proceeded to hit her with his hands on her face.
The fiancé provided a sworn written statement with intention to sue and was given a victim’s rights booklet. Photos were taken of her wounds as data, the report said.
Even within the home was the murderer’s 17-year-old daughter, who was sleeping during the actual encounter. She woke up due to the ruckus. According to the report, she attempted to go back to sleep but heard the lady yell her name violently.

In the end, Bach was stationed in a police car while being held in handcuffs.
