Just five were chosen to move the period for the evening dress opposition, where competitors from all over the United States could promote their fashion, grace, and presence.
Miss Michigan Alma Cooper, Miss Kentucky Connor Perry, Miss Tennessee Christell Foote, Miss Oklahoma Danika Christopherson, and Miss Ohio Macy Hudson made up the top five of Miss USA 2024.
Along with the interview and clothing categories, the pageant’s evening gown competitors is one of three likewise scored categories. Candidates are encouraged to select skirts that best show their character, as long as they follow a simple costume code — no bra backs or sparkle, while beads, sequins and rhinestones are highly encouraged.

Miss Kentucky Connor Perry
In a golden dress with massive ruffle covering both the front and back of her opera, which also featured a high-slit silhouette, Perry brightened the show with the most remarkable appearance of the best five.
Miss Michigan Alma Cooper
In a one-shoulder gown with a daring cutouts on the bodice, Cooper embraced the metallics pattern, creating an irregular image.
Miss Tennessee Christell Foote
In a massive, flared trousers and plunging neckline outfit with a vintage-style hem and an Old Hollywood sleeve, Foote gave the ensemble an edgy twist. A flower-shaped diamond buckle that matched her collar necklace was added.
Miss Oklahoma Danika Christopherson
Christopherson chose a sparkling black crop top with a sinking design to go with a matching super trousers. A golden chain connected both sections, crossing in front of her bodice.
Miss Ohio Macy Hudson
Hudson chose a beautiful purple gown with a large center, a halter-neck silhouette, a thigh-high slit and a remarkable train.
Laylah Rose, a clothing designer and the owner of Laylah Rose Couture, owns the show at the moment. She took over the U. S. registration of the business in 2023 from Thai trans businessman, who acquired the Miss Universe Organization in 2022.
Members from all 50 states and the District of Columbia were present at the 73rd Miss USA pageant. Miss Michigan Alma Cooper may succeed her in the Miss Universe 2024 parade in Mexico in November, according to Miss USA 2023 Savannah Gankiewicz.
