Following Pierce’s supporters expected to be treated to more with his family Keely Shaye Smith.
The Mamma Mia! professional, 71, and the blogger, 60, have chosen to keep their love life quite secret, only sharing a handful of glances inside the activities at Ballintubber Abbey in Ireland. Some people may have seen Keely’s beautiful second wedding dress as a result.
Keely and Pierce have previously shared a series of photos and have their celebration on August 4.
The bride was shown her lavish lace wedding dress, which had a Dracula-style great neck, pure sleeves, and a front scalloped edge.
As she walked down the aisle with her father under a green dome of flowers, Keely paired her dress with crystal cut pearls, a lengthy veil, and a traditional white flower. Meanwhile, Pierce looked every inch his 007 character in a dark suit, white waistcoat and a silver tie, with his hair parted and slicked back.
After the ceremony, Keely was pictured driving her car while sporting what appears to be her second wedding outfit. A fitted strapless satin gown with a structured bodice was revealed after she removed the long-sleeved lace overlay.
“My goodness- your dress!” After viewing the most recent wedding photos, one fan commented, “Your wedding dress is still an absolute fav! Cheers you two, and to many more!”
Love story
The couple first met at a party in Mexico on April 8, 1994, when journalist Keely conducted an interview with Cheers star Ted Danson. Three years after Cassandra Harris, Pierce’s first wife, died from ovarian cancer in 1991, the couple first met.
Before their wedding, Pierce and Keely gave birth to two children, Dylan in 1997, and Paris Beckett in 2001, the day before their big day. Since then, Pierce has never made a secret of his love and adoration for his wife in Ballintubber Abbey, where they wed in Pierce’s native Ireland.
In an interview with in 2018, Pierce described Keely as a “strong woman” and admitted. “I was lucky enough to find love once more after a wonderful marriage that unfortunately ended in tragedy. We were meant to connect with one another. I thank God for her every day,” he said.
“When Keely looks at me, I go weak. I love her vitality, her passion. She has this strength that I wouldn’t be able to live without.”
He continued: “I’m one of those guys who believes you need a strong woman in your life. In Keely, I met a wonderful woman. Would I never discover a better one if I searched it a million times?”
Marriage confessions
In a candid comment about their marriage, Pierce admitted they have overcome “hardships.”
“We like each other a lot. We love each other a lot,” began Pierce, before stating in an interview with Fox News: “And we’ve been down the road, and we’ve seen many, many hardships as families do, as we all do. But watching someone grow up with you and grow old with you is a very spiritual journey. To watch each other change … whatever it may be, the hair or the waist … it’s about the love in the heart.”
