Just when I had the idea that the Swedish fashion house was going to change the fall runway trend, I couldn’t help but think about it. The fashion industry has recently seen a boom in flouncy, ruffled, chiffon dresses, primarily due to Chemena Kamali’s debut collection for Chloé ( which successfully managed to revitalize and resurrect the brand ) and largely thanks to its success. Not only was the runway show a popular victory, but Kamali’s clothes continued to make articles at the when, Zoe Saldaña, Greta Gerwig, and Emma Mackey all showed up in fashion styles from the F/W 24 set. Suddenly, there was, which featured several hippy Kamali originals, all of which the community ate right away. Clearly, the controversial aesthetic is back, and if you don’t have thousands of dollars to invest in it, H&M is ready and willing to help.
