The writer explained more to Bold Panda what it was like to work while wearing a scarf.

u/GeckokidThePaladin is a pretty active Redditor, and when an opportunity to share a satisfying story arose, he couldn’t miss the opportunity. “I didn’t expect it to blow up, though”! He informed us in a communication sent via Reddit.

“I really felt like sharing it, and since I was feeling a little adventurous with my closet My partner marched at Pride wearing a genuinely pretty rainbow trousers, and he looked really masculine doing it! Not that being masculine or feminine means anything to me,” the queer Redditor adds for clarity.

The first time he wore a scarf to the office, u/GeckokidThePaladin claimed to have received a dozen strange appears from coworkers. No one from HR even approached him sometimes. However, most responses from different colleagues were simply positive.

“My staff loved it, and one of them mentioned he’d like to use his sister’s pencil skirt next time it gets hot”, he adds. Another employee from a different developing approached me and gave me a “high-five.”

Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more opportunities to wear the skirt. “Sadly, it hasn’t been very warm the last few weeks. So I’m again in my clothes”, the netizen told us.

He’s even trying to get bolder with his clothing choices. “I’m generally only in my gaming-themed T-shirts, but I’m more receptive to wearing more clothes and clothing in common”! Of course, that optimism usually gets dampened by the harsh reality. “Sadly, homophobic attacks, in general, are on the rise, and one still needs to be careful”, the Redditor says.

“But all the more reason to walk out and demonstrate that it’s acceptable to wear whatever we want!” On my walk, I see a lot of people who are, and they all look so lovely. I just want to leave them solely and stand up for them in silence.

The Redditor says workplaces shouldn’t restrict men to wearing only trousers

After two weeks of wearing a skirt, u/GeckokidThePaladin claims that dresses are undoubtedly more secure. “I’m still trying to get used to climbing staircase and sitting down with them,” I said. Social comfort-wise, I absolutely prefer clothes. I don’t even like trousers.

He also acknowledges that people who work in the office have fewer options when it comes to outfits for the summer. I do feel that men’s attire]can ] be a bit more restrictive than women’s. However, I believe it to be a little more subtle than that. People do get away with wearing clothes that effectively reveals their hips and thighs.

“I believe that given the climate, we are all individuals working in a professional environment.” the Redditor says. He does enjoy the fact that he doesn’t work in a suit-and-tie office, that would make wearing a skirt more problematic.

Some commentators suggested that people should be able to wear to work. u/GeckokidThePaladin agrees: “Kilts may be a good idea to start with. Or choose my much skirt. It has hands! But everyone, regardless of gender, should be able to use what is appropriate for the occasion. I really believe decent-looking shorts should be a part of it, he says as he explains his attitude.”

He also admits that the courage to try out wearing a skirt didn’t come overnight. “After a few years of trying to convince myself, I eventually left home with a skirt in. When it was warm, my team and I had been talking about it for a while before we ultimately decided to do it this year.”

“In the end, it’s not a big deal, but it felt like a big step for myself. Even some metaphor of coming up is in there,” the Redditor gods. “But I suppose both may blow up in your mouth! Most important — be pleasant, be it in your unique skin or clothing.”

People praised the staff for their genius move and discussed the absurd dress code at their places of employment.
