Mortensen- who grew up in Watertown, New York- went on to show that although the warrior’s utilize was not an Easter chicken, but he was delighted it was recognized.

‘Although, I am glad that some of]the viewers ] have spotted it and liked it. I knew that somebody would discover it,’ he told Clarkson.

He claimed that he had spoken with the film’s producers about using his figure Aragorn’s sword.

There is a knight and armor riding down in a forest in this movie, and I said, “He needs a sword. I don’t want to ruin the story.

‘And I go, “Well like a medieval sword” and Jackson said “Like what”? and I said, “Well, like this,” and I gave him a picture because I could keep the two swords I used in The Lord of the Rings, he said.

The artist was mocked by The Stronger singer by suggesting that he used the sword to “practice his part,” which led to him keeping the clip.

‘No, they really gave it to me,’ he explained.

The comedian continued to say that the show’s staff gave him a variety of sword options, but that he was determined to use up his previous weapon.

‘So they showed me like five or six different ]swords] and they were kind of okay, but they weren’t great. And I thought, “Well if it like this one, why not this one”? ‘ he said.

Mortensen called chairman Peter Jackson because he wanted to get his approach.

‘So I call the director and ask him and he said, “Is this a movie about a sword” and I said, “No, no, no”. And he goes, “How critical is it”? and I say, “You’d probably notice it three hours, four moments”,’ he shared.

The actor continued, “I don’t think most people would notice it, but there will always be someone who will notice it in every audience probably.”

He explained that as soon as he called the director for validation, he was given great news.

'I asked them and they said okay once they realized it wasn't that significant so we got to use it for free and that's how it ended up in there,' he told Clarkson

I was really curious if we needed to pay or what we had to do, and Jackson responded, “No, but you have to question the movie company.”

He told Clarkson, “I asked them and they said fine when they realized it wasn’t that important so we got to use it for completely,” he said.

The Dead Don’t Hurt follows “two inventors who fight for their lives and their passion on the American border during the Civil War,” per.
