Downton Abbey is filmed in Leeds by Laura Carmichael and Michelle Dockery

The highly anticipated fourth movie was shot on Monday at Ripon Racecourse in northern Yorkshire with Laura Carmichael and Laura Carmichael dressed to please during the shoot.

The women, who play who play Lady Mary Crawley and Lady Edith Crawley between, were spotted on fixed in their competition day jewelry.

Michelle, 42, cut a fashionable figure in a military tulle dress which she wore with a matching hat, while Laura, 37, looked beautiful in a pale green ensemble.

Somewhere Elizabeth McGovern, 62,- who plays the Cora, Countess of Grantham- stunned in a gentle blue gown as she was seen on established in beautiful Ripon.

Her on-screen father, 60, known for his part as Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham however looked handsome in a gentle blue coat.

As the primary cast and plenty of features watched a horse race, the shooting in North Yorkshire lasted for four times.

As devices rolled for days on some of the hottest time of the year so far, the features were spotted sheltered from the sunlight under tents and sipping from cups of water.

Allen Leech, who portrays Tom Branson in Downton, was caught filming scenes where he was disappointed when his horse didn’t succeed in the race.

Nathan Wiley as John Bevan, however, appeared to relish victory.

As filming began in Yorkshire at the beginning of the quarter, the launch date for the next movie was revealed.

Universal Pictures UK confirmed the news on Instagram on September 12, 2025, with Universal Pictures UK confirming the film’s international release date.

The message read: ‘A novel motion picture function. The second installment of the adored #DowntonAbbey brand will only be available in theaters on September 12, 2025.’

Dominic West, Elizabeth, Laura, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Robert James-Collier are to profit for the hotly-anticipated film.

The fourth installment of the company is anticipated to include Joely Richardson, Alessandro Nivola, Simon Russell Beale, and Arty Froushan.

The cast at Harrogate’s Great Yorkshire Showground last month appeared to be in great spirits.
