She continued, “This is a fantastic example of how clothing is so much more than simply what you see on the surface; all the stuff that surrounds the gown leaves a terrible aftertaste.”
According to Bingham, the “way that Culpo was talking about her costume” was “pushing this idea of what she thinks all wives may seem like”. She explained that Culpo’s remarks about the clothing appeared to be “marketing and pushing this agenda” and were inappropriate.
Bingham also opined that there was “no personality” in the dress. She continued to make comments on the numerous incidents that have plagued the Dolce & Gabbana clothing property, which the company has previously been accused of.
“This was not a marriage. This was a liberal campaign”, Bingham said, before concluding, “You took this disingenuous ‘get me’ route that actually felt more like you were thinking about your narrative than your real marriage.”
