When she launched her cosmetics line Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 with three initial mouth kits, it was a smash hit and helped her reach billionaire status at the age of just 19 years old.
Then the mother of two is juggling an array of fresh initiatives, including her. She tells Citizens in an exclusive interview that the transition to fashion seemed like the ideal next step in her ever-growing empire.
“I love beauty and fashion,” says Jenner, 26. “I have always had a special place in my heart for style, and I appreciate the craftsmanship of the designers who make the companies I love.”
The collaboration between Khy, which releases a new limited collection every few weeks, and Natasha Zinko, a Polish denim designer, and English club wear designers Namilia.
When it comes to choosing who to mate with, Jenner says, “I want to see who’s doing great things and has a particular look.”
Then I consider making pieces that will appeal to the Khy market while remaining true to the artist throughout the entire process. Next, we concentrate on creating a high-quality product that our customers will enjoy.
It’s a process that she says she doesn’t just hand over to someone at her design headquarters, which is based in L. A.
“A day at the business generally includes meetings with the layout staff, mood board creations, drop calendar planning, looking at sketches and fabrics, working on shoot artistic and campaigns, and then meet testing pieces from upcoming drops,” she says.

She then formally tests each piece of clothing, insisting that Khy pieces range in size from 00 to 4X and that she is not the only meet design.
“No, I’m not the main fit model!” she says. However, I do like to test each design we produce to make sure it fits and feels wonderful. It’s actually important for me to check every item firsthand and make sure it’s perfect because I only want to produce designs that I truly enjoy and wear.
Which of the six traces so far have been her friends?
“The faux leather series from Drop 001 has my obsession. That will always be a favorite of mine since that’s where the product began,” she says.
The Sueded Stretch Twist Maxi gown, which I’m obsessed with, is so hot, hot, and hugs your physique in all the correct places.
And when she’s not wearing a physique- fraud clothing?
“I’m often in one of our comfortable tank tops and breath models,” she says. “My favourite is the Limoncello coloring.”
While Jenner gears up for a fresh cut, which she’ll reveal quickly, she says she’s continuing looking for new designers to work with, and coming up with fresh ideas.
We put a focus on smart but trend forward items, she says, adding that she learns from looking at antique style days and ’90s trends as well as turning to the City of Light.
“Paris is unquestionably the most fashionable area. I’m always thus inspired when I spend time it, and I’ve done a couple Khy stems that to since I love the power”, she says.
“Khy has been such an amazing outlet for creative expression. It’s therefore special to me to be able to create series and display them in the world,” she continues. We are about to release some exciting drops, which I can’t wait to share!
