However, one particular gasp was undoubtedly when our beloved Penelope Featherington (now Bridgerton, squee!) debuted her far- anticipated marital couture.
We now knew that there would be a minute. With the aid of the Ton’s premiere seamstress (and Lady Whistledown accomplice), Madame Delacroix, it was clear Penelope would be receiving a gown of the highest order.
However, how does it measure up to the various Bridgerton weddings gowns?
Given this series is all about a marriage mart, there’s been at least one wedding each season… even if it didn’t go ahead (we’re looking at you, Anthony and Edwina). Perhaps a royal wedding was held to stop all other Queen Charlotte‘s sagas in Bridgerton.

Although the marriage did not go as planned, it eventually turned out to be the best. And we still managed to get a beautiful wife out of it.
As the month’s stone, of course Edwina Sharma *sparkled* at her wedding. A fabric overlay with delicately embroidered flowers was present in the white white dress. But what clinched it’s number three position were the components…
The neck- length boots we one point, but this gold and? We die.
2. Penelope’s green wedding gown

Ironically, costume designer John Glaser says Penelope’s gown was really the most accurate to the time period. “Wedding dresses at this time weren’t always white”, Glaser told Vulture. Simply put, the contemporary market perceives them as light.
The gown wasn’t often going to be green, however. The Bridgerton costume office initially proposed that Penelope wear “Bridgerton orange,” a pastel color that was well-liked by other Bridgertons. But it apparently wasn’t quite right, and didn’t suit actress Nicola Coughlan’s skintone as much as the final choice.
Finally, the team settled on a hue between “peach and pink”, which they say met both the colour palettes of the Featheringtons — who generally wear comfortable, bright, colorful colours— and the Bridgertons — who love a demure, cool pastel.
