Baby Reindeer, written by and starring Richard Gadd, is based on the writer’s distressing of having a predator.
The semi-autobiographical series follows the life of a twenty-something comedian and bartender named Donny (Richard Gadd), who is caught up in a web of substance use and sexual abuse from a powerful TV producer.

The show quickly rose to the top of the Netflix charts, with online schema fueled by speculation about who the movie’s real-life rivals might get.
Gadd took to Instagram in April to demand that people stop making up their minds about the actual people who created Martha and Darrien, naming writer and director Sean Foley as one “unfairly entangled in speculation.”

The actor’s popularity has caused some stirs since Fiona Harvey revealed that she was considering filing a lawsuit against Netflix for the description.
