The Only Real Dress Trend That Matters In 2024 Was Rihanna, Who Really Wore It

We don’t get to see out in the wild a lot—she’s pretty private these days—but when we do, you bet she’ll be in something special. That’s why we all may pay attention to whatever pattern she’s deemed valuable. Nine times out of ten, it’ll become the next great thing. And this time, the picture she’s given her royal stamp of approval is the, which means it would be wise to purchase one ( or a few ) before every past option on the internet immediately comes with a big, dark “out of stock” notice. It’s basic math actually: Rihanna wears it, people buy.

The founder chose Maximilian Davis pieces for an event for her brand in Shanghai and wore a dark edition of the year’s most talked-about. The clothing in query is a long-sleeve turtleneck dress with a slender, dropped-waist silhouette and a drapey, cut-out skirt made of individual purple fabric strips that first appeared on the European brand’s runway in February. With the costume, she and her designer for the night, Interview Magazine‘s editor- in- chief, added crimson leather gloves and a pair of patent- leather wedge heels in the same vivid shade.
