Appearing on Capital Breakfast on Friday, number Sian Welby asked the sun: ‘ I wondered whether you played the tunes to Axel, only for a bit of response?’
Perrie then stated that her son, who is also known as” the la la room,” is her biggest fan.
She said: ‘ Well, I play him all. My studio is in the house so he calls it the’ la la room’ and he’ll really permit himself in late takes, like I’m in my zone, and he’ll really come in..’ la la la la la’ and therefore he’s like,’ not this one’.
‘ Like whenever I put a song on he’s like” no this”. And I’m like, “oh, you don’t want this ballad”? And he goes, “no, I want to party”.
‘And I’m like, okay, so you want a more upbeat one, and he’s got his favourite, which I can’t name now. But he will be like “play, enjoy” and as soon as it comes on, he like, goes for it. And he is a complete master of the tracks. It’s therefore cute!’
Perrie even discussed life without Little Mix, saying it’s “strange and eerie” not to have Leigh- Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall by her side.
‘Like I feel secure. But it is odd. Like, the whole thing is consequently crazy. And I just in my mind, I don’t know. I’m like anticipating seeing the women when I arrive. Yet though I know that’s never gonna transpire,’ admitted Perrie.
‘I’m also subconsciously like,’ Jade, Leigh- Anne… where are you?’ It’s definitely bizarre, but it is interesting. Like, it’s interesting that we’re all doing our item and that we genuinely enjoy helping others do their point.
‘ And, you know, you always know what the future holds. And I only really miss them a bit. Therefore, I chose this randomly.
Leigh- Anne has now released three songs and performed at Capital Jingle Bell Ball in December, while Perrie has only just released her piano music.
Perrie praised Leigh- Anne’s victory, saying it was “inspiring” to witness her leave her comfort zone.
The main thing that I found exciting was, “Ouch, maybe we should take a little break, do our own thing,” according to the author. “I think the main factor that I found encouraging when certainly we decided to part ways and do our own issue. See what happens”.
But then seeing Leigh- Anne actually go out and do it was crazy! So I’m watching her in interviews, watching her perform, and I’m like, “how is she doing this? That’s wild”!
‘I’m so proud of her and so buzzing for her and then I kept thinking, “gosh, I’ve got to do that next”. I’m like “can I do that? I don’t know”. It’s so bizarre, but it is like amazing watching them do well, like I just want them to win, so it’s so nice. It’s such a nice feeling.’
