I’m trying to find the best beach costume last minute because I’m going on vacation in less than a month. When I saw a patterned dress while browsing the new-in part of Mint Velvet, I had a real déjà nostalgia time.
Why? Well, put your mind up to 2018 when Prince Harry and embarked on their aristocratic journey of Fiji, New Zealand and Australia. Side note: This was such an exciting time to work at HELLO! and we all loved. Her beautiful outfits were the focus of the style team’s attention.
The patterned dress she wore to join royal well-wishers in Queensland’s Fraser Island was one of our total favorites. The trendy king had a risky look due to the thigh-high split, but I really loved how subdued she looked in this photo op. Meghan looks tremendous all the time, but when she looks cozy, there’s a unique kind of radiance to her.
Consistently, it sold out as soon as she was photographed wearing the clothing, and even more consistently, the higher- road rushed to produce similar looking versions. All the manufacturers, from M&S to H&M, quickly released their own interpretation of her outfit. I didn’t jump on the trend back then but this / dress one I’ve spotted at Mint Velvet, well, do you know what? I believe I might perhaps favor it.
I know this hasn’t been designed to replicate Meghan’s dress, and striped dresses are common in the spring and summer months, but seriously, just look at the model on the beach. If you don’t say ‘wow’, are we even looking at the same photograph?
The outfit has tie-style straps and is medium-length. It doesn’t feature a thigh split like Meghan’s, but whether you think it’s a unique take on her tour summer dress, or whether you just love it regardless, it’s a great buy if you have a vacation coming up.
As a fan of Mint Velvet, I anticipate that this will disappear from the cabinets. You could wear it with a pair of tan gladiator sandals ( which I adore ) or you could pair it with a pair of. Personally, I believe an espadrille pair may function just as well. You can’t beat a pair of, and Meghan would agree because she is a fan of this brand.
Meghan’s Reformation ‘Pineapple Dress’ was an instant hit with fashion fans- it originally retailed at$ 129 ( approximately £102 ), but unfortunately, it is no longer available.
Meghan layered her Pascale Monvoisin Cauri No2 collar with her Karen Walker Northern Lights shades, her Birks stone ring, and her Adina Reyter pavé drop collar.
