Summer may be winding down, but the warm weather certainly isn’t, and for many of us, we’re still in seasonal restock mode. However, it’s difficult to justify purchasing clothing that won’t be useful for a month or so while it’s still warm outside. That’s why I’m a huge lover of intermediate style and finding fall-appropriate clothing. With the right clothing, you can add a hoodie, closed-toe sneakers or a light shawl to keep warm on those great.
Thankfully, I found a top-selling midi dress on Amazon that I could wear even in the heights of the summer while also remaining cool and pretty.

What I first noticed about this dress (besides the over 5, 000 five-star ratings) was the long, tiered skirt that hangs at a midi/maxi length, depending on your height. The feathery sleeves that cover my shoulders reflect the skirt’s female ruffle. It even comes with the one item every person wants in a dress: hands!
It comes in nearly 30 colours, ranging from summer-friendly colors like pale azure, sandy red and green, into more fall-friendly colors such as black, cherry and caffeine. I ordered the outfit in a white violet color that appears to be somewhat lighter online so I wanted to keep the summer vibes coming.
The top of the gown is very forgiving, with breathable stitches across the neckline, which fits my shape, and all versions have the above built-in pockets.
I ordered a little on Amazon after measuring my neck and neck, since the measurements are broken down for you. The page explained that a little equates to a children’s size 4/6, which I found to be exact.
The ease with which I put on this costume is what I love. There’s no jacket, only a small slit shape on the backside that uses a single switch. It slipped on without any issues because of the best bend; no uncomfortable wriggling to put it on! One word, as someone on the little side, it fell a bit longer than a traditional synth, hitting a little above my feet. Nevertheless, the gown also looked good when paired with or shoes.
I think the gown has a good pounds, as some reviewers have pointed out. The trousers drapes over my hips with a good amount of movement, and the fabric is even softer than some more costly dresses I own.
It was positively wrinkled when the dress initially arrived; it was neatly packaged in a small envelope, but after hanging overnight and receiving a lot of compliments, it appeared to be straight off a store rack. However, a couple readers noted that the rear of the dress, especially the trousers, held some wrinkles after a long time.
Given that my father seems to be a supporter, this dress seems like the ideal choice to include stashed in your closet for any less formal occasions, perhaps even a date night. When he pointed it on to me as he passed by, he said, “That’s a really pretty dress, I like it.”
