It comes after Daisy revealed little about her romantic marriage with her 28-year-old near friend and co-star.

Ever since they first met on the collection of Regular People again in 2019, the trio has delighted fans with snippets of their wonderful connection.

Many followers of the BBC show assumed a second line was soon to be announced, nevertheless, they have today confirmed they will not be reuniting on screen, leaving some destroyed.

Daisy and Paul made it known that they would rather be hosting a workout testing of Standard People’s first time to raise money for Pieta, a suicide prevention charity, and Unicef.

In a joint video on Instagram Paul said: ‘Hello, The news is, and we are incredibly sorry if we led people on, it’s not a season two.’

While Daisy added: ‘Not yet! There’s still time, keep the faith!’
