You were probably as obsessed with The Parent Trap as I was if I had a childhood in the 1990s. Meredith Blake and the “grown-up” aesthetics she used throughout the film sparked my obsession. I’m quite certain that Blake would be wearing this button-up outfit in every hue today. I can’t stop wearing the Amazon, which quickly became a favorite in my closet!
At first, I wasn’t sure how the would fit, but after I put it on, it was a perfect fit! The dress has classic buttons all the way down to the hem and an oversized style that only extends to the ankles (I’m 5’4″ for reference). The Dolman batwing sleeves and turn-down sleeve collar, which give the maxi yet more character, also appeal to me. Additionally, there are two side-entry side pockets for little things and a side split to keep you cool while moving. The picture is ideal for hiding bloating when necessary and is flattering for all body forms!

I don’t want to wear the sleeve because it’s not a button sleeve, which is fine because it looks good on me. The summertime look is ideal for this outfit. Lite, but never see-through. It’s ideal for lounging around the house and then going out for coffee with pals or shopping.
