We think Duchess Sophie’s pink gown is ideal for the fall, having made a summer comeback in Paris.
The princes’ official wardrobes are substantial for all of their commitments and formal events, but it seems they do as well have their favorites wherever possible. The Duchess of Edinburgh is not averse to re-wearing certain items and flawlessly styling them in slightly different ways. Her stunning violet Erdem Roisin gown, which she initially wore for a special occasion with Prince William in 2023, is just one of those. This gown, which would rival any of the others, appears to have vanished as she returned it for her *very* interesting Olympic presence in Paris in 2004.
While Duchess Sophie’s facial expressions were lovely to watch, her crimson midi dress caught our attention as well as her team’s metal medal-winning performance in the children’s sprint event.

Because it can be readily styled for summer and the entire fall, this clothing is a wise investment. On chillier days, layer over a customized trench coat or blazer, and add ankle boots, or wear toned sandals in warm weather. In the summer, denim dresses are a great pair to wear with dancing flats, wedges, or sandals, and boots, tights, and a light jacket will be your new favorite way to style them. A matching tie-waist pulley is included with this one, which is a mid-blue color.
The floral arrangements that surround it are inspired by 1600s decorative carvings, so savvy farmers might be able to identify the tulips, daisies, and jasmine. The Duchess of Edinburgh’s dress’ more vivid purple base color contrasts beautifully with the print’s deeper blue and lighter purple tones. Although the straps have no sleeveless design, the female ruffles on the edging act like very lovely cap sleeves.
Duchess Sophie’s clothing skirt flares out with beautiful pleats, and a second ruffle runs along the neckline to create a collar. Due to how elegant and functional they are and how much of a fan of this special pattern, it’s well worth having a midi outfit in both your summertime and yours. The pleating gives this dress more movement and dimension.
To give an dress an autumnal top, wear a pair of hip boots or knee-high boots with a pair of cardigans, blazers, or even a tunnel coat.

In cooler weather, Duchess Sophie may have easily paired her gown with shoes and a personalized suit, but this was a different situation. She wore her white set espadrille holes in Paris in the high heat. The Duchess of Edinburgh was searching for her go-to espadrilles right away as the wind started to improve in the UK. She particularly enjoys those that have an ankle strap more than ties your foot.
These can frequently feel more secure when you walk them, and her selection of leather slices makes them even more practical and durable. Duchess Sophie’s pink dress was last seen wearing pinky-beige system heels and a matching colored wrap, demonstrating how it can be made a little more formal.

Her more relaxed, neutral espadrilles, which she would wear to the Olympics, were ideal for a daylong cycling vacation, and her from would even give this look a similarly relaxed vibe. The Duchess finished her Parisian look with some timeless flat gold hoop earrings and secured her blonde hair in a straightforward updo. We were relieved to see her red-colored costume come back, and we’re hoping Duchess Sophie will add some extras to her wardrobe.
