Although she had a clear plan for her sport strategy, Chloe Kelly was more hesitant to make the decisions. Following a five-year relationship with her partner, The, 26, wed Scott Moore in front of other footballers Mayumi Pacheco, Sandy Maciver, and Gabby George.
Between her beautiful Lapland wedding in December 2023 and her large day, Chloe only had seven months to choose her wedding outfit, Merrydale Manor, in Cheshire.
Chloe, who scored the winning aim for the Lionesses in the Euros last in 2022, explained that she changed her mind when she tried on the dress again.
‘The gymnast decided it would work better as her evening look after having a backup set. Next day is the elegance,’ as the saying goes! Chloe trusted the shop assistant, who found a dress that matched the best elements of the other two clothes, knowing that it was the one chosen based on the reaction of her family.
“My grandmother, Jane, only started crying, my girlfriend Paris was beaming, and I remember saying, ‘I just want to FaceTime Scott and present him!’ But I knew that was one thing I couldn’t do,” she said.
Chloe looked stunning in a corset-style gown with a hip-height foot splits and a sloping neck. A heavily embellished large fabric overlay that spanned her wings and hugged her was the top finishing touch.

The backless style of her dress was partially obscured by Chloe’s long, white hair, which had been quietly curled and brushed out into gentle waves that fell down her back. Her head was twisted at the king of her head, and her face was framen by two lines, which was not her unique style.
Chloe admitted she initially requested Michael’s styling services to type her hair up before turning the handle once more, but she also admitted she now suffers from indolence.
“I’m happy we did the marriage so swiftly, then I’d just keep changing my thinking about points,” she admitted.
© GettyFor the night welcome, Chloe swapped her cut-out bridal dress for an equally brave glittery quantity. The princess silhouette had a plunging V-neck, longer, shiny sleeves, and matching pure glitter down the sides.
She began her first dance, Not Change by Picture This, with thick bridal white systems, great for dancing the night aside with her closest friends and family.

“He kept saying he was going to text me ever since the day I held the door for him. When he did drop into my DMs, I didn’t see it for years, because it was in my demands files, and then when I did notice it I was like, ‘Who is this?’ But when I saw a few people that I knew had followed him, I realized, I may know him!”

“It was remarkable. I couldn’t actually see the ring because we couldn’t have the flash on as you wouldn’t be able to see the lights, but I still said yes!” she said.
