Alyssa, 27, and Jacob Farah, 28, met at a gathering in 2021.
“My sister brought me along, and I nearly didn’t go because I didn’t really know anyone there,” Alyssa told Business Insider. However, my girl forced me to leave, and I’m always appreciative of that.
As soon as Alyssa and Jacob first met, flames started to fly between them.
“We were glued to each other’s edges the entire day,” she told BI — and they still are today. Only one year after their meeting, Jacob made a proposal to Alyssa in December 2022.
Now, the couple lives in Sydney, Australia, up, where Alyssa is an administrative assistant at a real-estate firm and Jacob is a crane controller.
The Farahs wanted their marriage to have a beautiful, elegant visual.
Alyssa and Jacob exchanged vows at the Sydney Town Hall, and they had their welcome at Jones Bay Wharf in Doltone.
“It was more of a black, gloomy, hot vibe”, Alyssa said of her vision for her wedding decor.
Their marriage reception was lit with lights at the table, which created a romantic feeling, as many people do.
Alyssa looked for a costume that reflected her own style.
Before getting engaged, Alyssa discovered the artist Berta.
“Ever since high school, I had followed Berta”, Alyssa said. I almost knew I wanted to marry Berta, she said.
After she got engaged, she was scrolling on Instagram when she stumbled upon a picture of from Berta’s Bethany set.
“I saw it, and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ “Alyssa said of her response to the dress.” Funnily sufficiently, that same day, my mother sent me that clothing”.
Alyssa made an appointment to try on the mermaid-style dress at quickly.
She immediately put on the dress to make sure it was best for her wedding.
Alyssa said, “I tried on different dresses simply to enjoy dress up and see,” knowing that despite being drawn to the 23-10, she still wanted to try on different outfits.
“Maybe I wouldn’t want it, but I saved that one for last,” she told BI. “I brought my mother and my two daughters with me, and as soon as I put it on, they were like, ‘Duh, that’s your outfit.'”

“My mask was more than the coach, which I loved,” Alyssa said, adding that it was adorned with little diamantés to give it an extra touch of beauty.
Alyssa chose a plain wedding outfit, aside from the shroud.
“I didn’t have any jewelry”, she added, aside from a pair of diamanté earrings. “The gown was bedazzled enough.”

Alyssa adored how unique her bridal gown felt.
Alyssa described why she fell in love with her outfit as “I had never seen a dress like it before.”
“All loves the great ball dresses and the billowy dresses,” she said. “I do, too, and I often thought I’d have a bigger clothing.”
“But as soon as I saw that one, I was like, ‘I can’t see myself in anything else now,'” she went on to say. “It’s just so unique.”
Jacob didn’t see Alyssa’s wedding dress until she walked down the aisle.
Alyssa had a second look with her bridesmaids and her father, but she had Jacob stay in the dress for the wedding dress reveal.
Alyssa said, “Seeing him at the end of the aisle was one of my favorite experiences of the day.”
“He’s an emotional guy, but he’s also he’s very, very confident,” she told BI of her husband. “He gets nervous when he knows that everyone’s looking at him. So he was trying to compose himself.”
Jacob wore all black to the bride.
Jacob chose a black wedding coat.
His shirt, tie, and boots were also dark, and the chromatic look complemented Alyssa’s trendy dress.
Jacob’s just noticeable change was the white rose on his sleeve.
Alyssa’s girls wore dark as well.

Alyssa’s brides paired their clothes with black boots, resembling Alyssa’s distant sleeves.

“I said to all,’ I just want our bride to feel like one’s involved and a part of it, no just me and him,'” she said.
“The niceties are at the start, but once they’re all done, then I want everyone to be on the dance floor the whole night,” Alyssa added.
The band, the DJs, and other entertainment options were available at the ceremony to help give that vibe.

“Get with your gut,” Alyssa advised weddings shopping for wedding dresses.
“I don’t listen to outside noise too much,” Alyssa said. “My daughters, I value their mind a lot, and I was really happy that they agreed with me on that costume. I still would have chosen it because it resembled my dress, even if they hadn’t.”
Alyssa complained about hearing from wives complaining that their tones drown out other people’s when choosing a gown.
“Just stick to your guns because you won’t regret it,” she said.
Jacob is Alyssa’s best companion, according to her.
“It’s only fun,” she said of her marriage, adding that Jacob is her “go-to man”.
He is “the most interesting man I’ve ever met. I’ll not be frustrated,” she said of her wedding. “I really love to laugh, and he makes me laugh all the time”.
“We put each other first in every condition,” Alyssa said. “He’s only my best friend.”
