Williams kicked off the evening with a Thursday event at the Louis Vuitton Foundation earlier this year.

To finish the outfit, she added dark pumps, a blue-and-green patterned box bag, and a powerful diamond-encrusted necklace.

Williams made an open statement about her tone and attitude toward activities in an interview with in April.

“I think women in particular are accepting that you can have both strength and beauty.” Before as a lady athlete, you couldn’t wear makeup or else you weren’t taken seriously. And if you did, then it was like,’ Oh, she’s not a serious athlete and she won’t be as good,'” she said. ” Now you can be powerful, you can be wonderful, you can do all of that at the same time. I feel like that tale, seeing myself and my girlfriend on the great levels of Wimbledon and the U. S. Open, being ourselves and wearing excellent outfits and looking our best, actually changed women’s sports—which is ridiculous. But it definitely changed women’s sports as a whole”.
