While trying to conceive her fresh baby, Lea ‘had two back-to-back, quite early, failed pregnancies,’ leaving her ‘shocked’ as she had ‘never had a miscarriage before.’
She disclosed: ‘The first one, I was like: “That was crazy”. When it happened once right away, I was like: “Wait a second. Someone is wrong.”‘
She then considered whether or not to attempt to get pregnant again, believing that it wasn’t the “right time.”
The Spring Awakening actress unfortunately experienced a second miscarriage while she was employed, and she found it to be very difficult to process what we were going through at the same time, which was very painful.
She sought medical advice and was given the diagnosis of endometriosis after she decided to “dive deeper” and discover the root of her health issues.
As a result, she had an activity and was ‘put on so many medicines and medications,’ including ‘1000 photos,’ after which she become expectant with her child.
She revealed a few years ago that she had to come on bedrest because of heavy bleeding during her first conception.
‘I also was questionable if the conception was going to last,’ she said on. ‘It was awful. It was my lowest level of life ever.’
However, she noted that the suffering brought her and Zandy closer, saying: “Having our son and dealing with the difficulties we faced throughout the pregnancy unfortunately made a stronger relationship with us.”
