The Log Cabin Republicans are then completely opposed to the former president who has been sentenced to prison for his crimes despite never supporting Trump in 2016. The team’s head, Charles Moran, he thinks Melania is the key to winning over LGBTQ+ seats.

“Ms. Trump has a long history of supporting efforts around unity and inclusion. We are attempting to create a more diverse Republican Party. Also,” he said, “to enable LBGT folks know that they have a home in the traditional activity.”
“Ms. Trump is about unity. She came to this country from another one, she speaks many cultures. She came here and is a self-made person, had a very powerful career before she married. She is aware of the significance of being evaluated on one’s personality and potential to do great work.
Melania, the supposedly great symbol, wore a MAGA purple $4, 000 Valentino dress to the occasion and offered a rare show of support for her father. She opened up the woman’s tower for the group, which raised $1.4 million in support of her 78-year-old hubby’s election campaign.
Melania on Monday with her “personal stylist” Herve Pierre Braillard, who is paid $18, 000 a month from Trump’s Save America PAC despite the fact that Melania hasn’t attended a single campaign event and won’t be seen in public with her husband.

Although Trump initially ran for president when he had conflicted opinions on LGBTQ+ rights, he claimed Caitlyn Jenner may choose her own room at Trump Tower and ininfamously turned the Pride symbol upside down in his administration. He opposed work privileges for LGBTQ+ employees, resented equality laws, and appoints 234 conservative judges. He also forbids transgender members from serving in the military.
Trump is promising to abolish gender-affirming treatment for adolescents at the national level and forbid transgender athletes from competing on teams that reflect their gender identity during their next term. “No critical state may be telling its kids that they were born with the wrong gender—a principle that was never heard of in all of human history—nobody’s ever heard of this, what’s happening today.”
Trump claims to know nothing about the far-right’s wish list of policy proposals that include rescinding laws protecting LGBTQ+ people from prejudice. In particular, the program calls for prohibiting teachers from acknowledging trans kids, recommending that express health care plans don’t cover gender-affirming attention, allowing trans people and those living with HIV to serve in the military, and encouraging “heterosexual marriage.”
But Richard Grenell, Trump’s former acting director of regional intelligence/gay Judas, thinks his previous employer may get 50% of the queer vote.
It’s the first battle event previously held at the Trump home.

That seems like a stretch, considering it doesn’t seem like Melania can even attract gay people to a gay Trump fundraiser. Previous U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler and GOP mega-donors like Hannah and Duke Buchan, Nazee, and Joseph Moinian were among the publicized guest record. The only recognized high-profile gay participants, other than Grenell, were past liberal benefactors like Bill White and Bryan Eure, both of whom Trump backs.
Along those lines, homosexual “Trump-loving republicans” about feeling left out of Pride events. They say they heard “jeers” from persons at New York’s Pride festival for marching with rainbows “Trump Pride” colors. (The colors, by the way, are very, very unpleasant. Obviously, MAGA gays have no flavor!)
“I’m almost anti-gay”, said one of them, who claims he’s banned from his neighborhood watering hole. “It’s an embarrassment to see this type of behavior … I’d truly encourage them to go to Iran or Gaza. See how it benefits you. Discover how quickly you are executed or imprisoned.”

Earlier this year, a that just 15% of LGBTQ+ Americans support Trump. No word on whether people’s perceptions of Melania wearing a $4, 000 outfit at a charity with wealthy right-wingers did change.
