The supermodel’s former maid has criticized her as a “weird” attention-seeker for flaunting the legendary custom dress she donned while serving as her punishment for attacking her.
According to housekeeper Ana Scolavino, 58, who spoke to Daily Mail.com, the 58-year-old woman claims she is still traumatized from the 2006 event where Campbell hurled her diamond-encrusted smartphone at her in a wack of rage.
Scolavino attempted to flee the star’s New York apartment with the help of her mind, but it was so painful that she eventually struggled to find employment as a result of the terrifying incident.
Campbell, 54, received a five-day order to complete anger management and community support, but the discussion grew when she arrived on the last day of her sentence wearing a stunning silver designer dress.
The Victoria and Albert Museum’s fresh display, which honors her life and career, has now displayed the iconic Dolce & Gabbana dress.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail.com, Ana said: ‘She shouldn’t be drawing attention to something that was so terrible.’
‘If you attack someone, you may say that you are sad. You shouldn’t be making fun of it or blatantly promoting what transpired.’
‘For me, personally, I have tried to forget about that day and walk on with my life.’
Naomi needs this kind of interest because she may be older and doing less modeling job right now.
‘It is strange and in impoverished style, but these renowned people do whatever they want.’
After agreeing to a plea deal with the prosecution, Campbell was detained in March 2006 and later admitted to third-degree abuse after first refuting Ana’s claims.
She agreed to yell at the servant while holding up the phone in a fit of rage, but she denied that she intended to hit the servant.
With the judge ordering her to go anger management courses and complete five times of community service in January 2007, Campbell only just avoided prison.
And it was on her last day as she scouted the streets of New York wearing the sequined, silver dress that is now a fixture in the V&A Museum.
Explaining why she wanted to put the dress on show, Campbell said in a new interview: ‘It’s part of my life. I came out in my dress and was empty. I was quite aware of what I was doing when I completed my year of community support.’
Chile- born Ana, who was 34- years- ancient when she was hired to clear the actor’s two- home duplex in Midtown Manhattan, says she simply wants to forget.
She stated that she had previously worked with Robert De Nero and Mick Jagger, both of whom were beautiful and kind.
But it was too late for me to realize that I had no notion I may work for Naomi Campbell.
I was cleaning her apartment alone as she was returning from London on one of my first time at the company.
‘When she arrived, she was having a big fight with her private associate.’
Naomi was screaming at her and the child was saying, ‘Who do you think you are?’
The woman ended up running away after falling in love at the airports.
‘Afterwards, Naomi said to me,’ I’m so guilty about that. Do you mind doing some extra job for me because my personal assistant start?
I eventually ended up working as her servant and part-time personal assistant.
Naomi was pleased with me because I did a great job for her, according to Ana.
‘But it was always longer time. I did sometimes start at 8 am and work until the following morning’s early days.’
‘A fortnight after I started, Naomi was going to Brazil, which has a subtropical climate, and therefore Milan, which would be cool at that time of year.’
Naomi served as the officer while Naomi and another housekeeper spent the time packing her bags.
She requested that unique bags be distributed for each leg of the trip because she was bringing five extra-large suitcases for sex.
‘At 2am, I told Naomi, ‘I’m very tired, I’ve been here since 8am, I need to come home.’ She begged me, saying: ‘You don’t leave me Ana, I need you.’
‘I said, ‘No, I have to come, I’ll get back in the morning.’ Only as I was leaving the house, I heard screaming. Naomi started yelling, ‘Ana, may you appear in these satisfy?’
She was screaming at the other girl, who was working her first day, when I went home.
Naomi was saying, ‘Look at what this terrible girl did? She put the white trousers (pants) in the luggage to go to Milan.’
‘I said, ‘Naomi, people make mistakes, please calm down so I can talk to her.’
You had to remember an elephant’s remembrance to follow her instructions, but she spoke to folks like dogs.
Ana was allegedly attacked by Campbell after being accused of stealing a pair of jeans.
But the girl now reveals that it was another servant, based in London, that was accused of taking the designer jeans and subsequently fired.
On why she fell out with Campbell, Ana said: ‘It was the day she was expected to get interviewed by Oprah Winfrey at home.’
When a friend of Naomi’s introduced himself and said, “She had a big fight with her partner in LA and she’s tired because the flight was delayed, but be cautious with her. And don’t talk to her because she’s in a bad mood, and keeping quiet is the best thing you can do.”
‘I said, ‘Alright’ and I did my best, but she was anxious and stressed and all we did was wrong.
‘She had been shouting,’ Ana, who put the bouquets ok?’ Although the apartment was stunning, she was so harsh that she had to cross a range.
‘I walked upstairs and told her, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I’m guilty but I quit, you need to find one more.’
‘She shouted, ‘No, you can’t leave me, I’m alone and don’t have another housekeeper.’ I started to throw garments at her.
‘I told her, ‘I’m sorry, but I’m done’ and I walked down the stairs quite quietly.
She grabbed the telephone and threw it at me at that point. My head had to be sewed six times because it opened.
‘Her companion was shouting at her, saying,’ Naomi, why did you do that? You are ridiculous.’
‘Naomi was violent and was saying,’ I’m sad. ‘She tried to hug me but I said,’ Don’t come somewhere near me.’
I took my bag, and I used my belt to stop the bleeding from my mind.
‘I was pretty shaken. When people problems you in a way that is truly harmful to you.
After that, it made me extremely cautious with the individuals I worked for, and it became difficult for me to find work. I can’t help but think about what just happened.
‘I avoided going to court because I didn’t want to see her again and because I thought her punishment was too light. Because she was famous, she didn’t get what she deserved.’
A number of previous household assistants and home staff, who also made similar allegations against her, after sued Campbell in court.
The other people told me I deserved a prize because I managed to stay at the work for three weeks, Ana continued, while the majority of them left after a few weeks.
The positive thing was that my situation made it possible for others to sue her, even before they were very scared.
She attacked no one late, and perhaps she learned a lesson, she said.
‘I heard she has children today, so I hope she has changed her life.’
