The 49-year-old teenager and Oscar winner looked content as they perused several shops, including McNally Jackson Bookstore.
With large dark shades, a reddish leather purse, and a pair of heeled dark booties, Jolie styled her naturally stylish frock for their laid-back outing.
To overcome the searing heat, the artist wore her light brown hair in a modern updo.
Her small woman wore a simple beige t- shirt, mild- wash blue jeans and a pair of sneakers.
Vivienne, the youngest child of Jolie and ex- partner Brad Pitt, carried her things in a dark backpack.
Next week, the girl joined her famous family at the 77th Annual Tony Awards.
The Strangers, a Broadway production starring Jolie and her young daughter, received a staggering total of 12 major day votes, both of which Jolie and her child had an engagement in.
Vivienne teamed up with her family for the situation by wearing teal-colored pants and a corresponding vest that was unbuttoned the front.

At the star-studded celebration on Sunday night, the stage production won four awards, including Best Musical and Best Musical.
As brother producer Matthew Rego accepted the last bell of the day with an inspiring acceptance speech, Angelina and Vivienne happily applauded as they performed on stage next to each other.
