Next week, a new regional restaurant and a Warwick clothing store will host their second charity fashion show.

Spread Retail will mind to No 75 Bedford Street in Leamington Spa on Thursday 27 June for a night of clothing, food and charity.

Hannah Teale’s Smith Street shop was founded earlier this year, with an emphasis on responsible clothing and list.

That will also be a theme of the show, which is being run in aid of Fashion Revolution, a never- for- profit organisation dedicated to promoting a “fresh, healthy, reasonable, transparent and accountable fashion industry.”

We were considering holding the occasion in April as part of Fashion Revolution Week, but construction delays caused the event, according to Hannah.

“But we are now prepared to hold the occasion the following year.”

No 75 is a really beautiful building, and we want as many visitors as possible.

Three distinct themed sections will be present at the event, each displaying various Spread Wholesale products.

The models will display their night dress for parties and weddings, as well as their proper attire for parties.

The designs include friends and family of the organisers, and range in age from 17 to their early 60’s.

“We want to present the depth of the variety we have at Diffuse Retail,” Hannah explained.

“And we want to see the real people of Warwick involved.”

We are involved in a wide range of age and body types, which is wonderful.

Following the Rana Plaza crisis in 2013, where 1, 134 people were killed and 2, 00 were hurt when a clothing shop in Dhaka, Bangladesh collapsed, Fashion Revolution was founded.

Since then, the donation has held a dedicated week each year to raise money to support shift and raise awareness of crimes in the fashion industry.

“I have followed the generosity for a while”, Hannah said.

They want a sector that is more ethical and green.

It was their 10th Revolution fortnight in April, and this year is their 10th season.

They “truly try to do a bit in terms of legislation and actually influence the market.”

A free appearance beverage, canapes, and of course the chance to see the fashion show are included with the price of the $20 tickets.

A lottery will also be held, with rewards donated from local organizations including, Vivienne Whelan Personal Stylist, Maddison’s Jewellers Warwick and Warwick Racecourse.

And Hannah claimed that she and the staff are actually looking forward to it with only weeks until the event.

“I am really thrilled about future week”, Hannah said.

“There will be food and drinks, and we have a wonderful environment for our first occasion- No 75 have been so good.”

I’ve never attempted to run anything like this myself, but I believe it will be a really enjoyable girls’ night out without being overly superficial or forced.

And it will be raising funds for a very worthwhile reason.
