Dakota Johnson Really Rocked TikTok’s “Wrong Shoe Theory”

A lot of changes (and micro- changes) have gone viral on TikTok. There is always something new on the schedule for the people to obsess over, from coquette-core to. However, the fashion trend I find most intriguing has to do with putting on an uninspiring pair of shoes.

The idea is dubbed, and it suggests that after you’ve decided on an clothing, you can always find the perfect pair of shoes and then switch them out for something entirely entirely new. In other words, wear the shoes that your gut tells you to complete. If you’re not really sure what that looks like, one of Dakota Johnson’s latest apparel is a great illustration.

Last year, York City wearing a dainty yellow gown, great for spring, with a pair of normcore clothing. But I don’t hate it — at all.

Dakota’s Floral Print Dress With Sneakers

Johnson donned a floral-print DOEN midi in the aptly named “Citron,” a colorway the company has used. Her costume has ruffled trim all the way down the shoulders and neckline, which makes it even better.

But, this is where Bornstein’s “wrong foot idea” comes into play. The professional managed to balance the intimate feel of the outfit with an odd pair of shoes. Johnson broke up the dress with a pair of light tube socks and Nike’s DayBreak sneakers, which were particularly popu, are among the design set in the’ 80s after their 1979 launch.

The actor’s dark cateye sunglasses and little huggie hoops added a hint of glam to finish the look.

Shop Her Look

If you’re hoping to swtich up your appearance with the “wrong foot idea” by embracing Johnson’s attire in its totality, you’re in luck as all the components of her ensemble are now available for purchase. DOEN’s Citron Nevara clothing is a genuine investment because it is somewhat see-through and made of 100 % silk, so you might want to think about styling it with flesh-colored jeans.

When it comes to Nike’s DayBreak sunglasses, there are a slew of options on the market. Which means you’ll have plenty of color combinations at your disposal if the dark-blue and white pair with the brown sole Johnson was wearing doesn’t really feel like a fit.

In terms of the “wrong foot concept,” fashion is subjective, and what is right or wrong for you may not always be the same as what is bad for the next man. So truth be told, if wearing sneakers with dresses this summer is deemed wrong, I don’t want to be right.
