Many Chinese adults are amused by the fact that they don’t have to pack their clothes when they do when they wear all of their clothes, much to the amusement of those who use social media on the mainland.

Budget carriers in China have seen profits soar amid a surge in the post-pandemic travel sector. Spring Airlines, for example, reported income of more than two billion yuan (US$280 million) in 2023.

Their success comes from demanding cost- cutting measures, like as no pleasant meals, narrower seating, and rigid carry- on luggage limitations– usually allowing a little 16- inch suitcase with 7kg maximum weight.

Innovative young mainland travelers have taken to social media to promote their creative cheap flight fashion tips in response to the limitations.

They have transformed themselves into walking clothes by wearing layers of clothing in a variety of variations, which helps them avoid excess baggage charges.

In one instance, someone layered six layers of spring and fall clothing on herself, covering everything from overcoats to shirts to jackets.

Another traveler was spotted wearing eight pieces of traditional Hanfu clothes on a flight to Australia, and she was called “together rich and poor” because she owns numerous high-quality clothing but still wants to avoid paying for her luggage.

Some people have thought of creative ways to group, such as filling U-shaped pillows with clothing that doubles as a supportive in-flight pillow.

A fishing vest is a common option for the challenging task of carrying gadgets because it has numerous compartments for cables, power banks, and files.

The coat has room for two books and an iPad in its back pocket, which is ideal for both carrying a wide range of cosmetic and beauty items. Even larger size can fit a 16-inch computer.

People online refer to the item of clothing as the “ultimate president passport.”

One person joked that “this must not be disclosed to the boss, or we’ll lose the justification that my computer isn’t with me” to avoid working overtime while on a trip.

The proper blending and packing pattern, has sparked a wave of excitement among tourists online, eager to try the hacks for themselves, reported the media newspaper, Vista.

“I’m going to use a fishing vest when I travel next time, it’s even more practical than a backpack”, one person said.

“Prior to now, I was able to meet 5 kg of things into a fishing vest. It’s very practical”, said another.

“Haha, this reminds me of a friend who wore a bunch of stuff boarding the plane, and a woman beside him asked if he was wearing a parachute”, said a third.

Another website observer remarked, “Test wearing all that in Guangdong and you will experience from heatstroke before you even step outside.”
