During state trips with the French president, Brigitte Macron claims that her attire causes conversation “more than anything else.”

Mrs Macron, 70, told the newspaper Madame Figaro that girls her age appreciated her clothes. The wife of Emmanuel Macron spoke in a mutual interview with Louis Vuitton’s women’s artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière, who is also her individual stylist and stylist.

All French first girls have been “attentive to vogue,” according to Mrs. Macron, who quoted her as saying.

” One of the news stories that most pleased me concerning my outfits]that have been ] commented upon worldwide is:’ But French’. That implies that the clothing accurately portrays our nation and culture. Imagine the significance they have placed on them: in the majority of the nations I visit, they post on that more than anything more.

She did not specify whether that included her father Emmanuel, who has recently created a very diverse international excitement by refusing to send ground troops to Ukraine and finally appearing in stylized images showing him sparring with a punchbag with his forearms exposed.

Mrs. Macron continued,” The way you are dressed creates the initial idea… and sometimes it’s clear. If you are not dressed in the right way for the ceremony, that is, too much or not enough, it can have effects.” Clothes cubby you: that’s the reason why you have to be careful”.

Asked what her garments said about her, the first woman, who is 24 years older than her father, replied:” If I believe what I hear, people of my time are very glad that I dress this way. I’m not sure why, but this presence makes you feel like a free person. It is a picture I pass off without giving it any significance.

She thanked Mr. Ghesquière for raising her account, saying:” Nicolas has created for me a kind of style dictionary without saying it, formulating it, or intellectualizing it. With him and his groups, it’s thus flow! The attire allows me to transition into the part.

Mrs. Macron had no excuses for her love of mini-dresses. She most recently wore one at a Nato conference for families in 2018.

“Nicolas has tried to establish me in oversized]clothes] or destructured or asymmetric]styles] but I have resisted … I also have difficulty with length beneath the leg. Me, it’s firmly below. A costume is either short or it ‘s]too] long”.

“I have always thought that high shoes were a sign of women’s alienation. I wear them because I don’t feel comfortable in flat shoes, so I need an arch, which is not a bad thing. That means the pace is more managed, which is encouraged in some conditions”.

Mrs. Macron claimed she had often worn what she wanted but that owing to Mr. Ghesquière, she had entered a new era in terms of fashion.

He said he had been “immediately charmed by her”, flowing that “light came” from the first woman.
