Dear Lisa,
I’m 55 and a traditional 12 little at 5ft 2in, and have blonde hair and blue eyes. I love to wear about 20 attractive summer clothes for relaxation. As the gown- and- instructors look is then overdone and obsolete, what should be my “go- to” appear for and?

Darling Carol,
You might not have to give up on those outfits entirely, but I do believe about the instructors. What appeared to be a new mix a few years ago is now sour. This could be fixed with a few adjustments. You may, for example, try wearing your clothes with.
Fan dark cottages, Camilla Elphick,
Metallic dancer flats, Marks & Spencer, square feet dancing level, Vionic Shoes
Almond toes, which are a little smarter than the traditional round toes, are available in Vionic Shoes and these metallics from Marks & Spencer, as well as these supportive soles with removable orthotics. Or Camilla Elphick’s “Lover” style has also become a cult hit.
How about some loafer flatforms ( Sézane, ), à la Emilia Wickstead? These Dune flatform boots are bright and vibrant when the weather warms up.
Leather shoes, Sezane,, Dune London Flatform Sandals, Freemans,
You don’t say what kind of dresses you favour, but as you mention comfort, I wonder whether they’re quite baggy? This Isabel Marant leather knot belt would be a smart addition to your collection. I’d even suggest checking out Peachy Belts ‘ extensive belt selection, which starts at only. You might also consider putting on a top-heeled suit.
Isabel Marant set belt, Shield- a- Porter,
If your 20 clothes are past recovering, then it’s definitely time to get ruthless., or maybe? Use the money to buy a new outfit. There are some great co- ords around which, because you can get the top and bottom in a unique size, bridge the chasm between something that’s but fitted it’s limiting, and something exceedingly informal.
Textured fabric combination inc- ord, Me+Em,
Shirt, trousers, Mint Velvet
I like the Mint Velvet above-set or this The White Company trouser-tunic combo. The above Me+Em set seems cheap at first sight, but it’s a match, albeit with the ease and coolness of a gown, so a lengthy- phrase buy.
Embroidered skirt, Wiggy Kit,
However, pant suit are more common than previously. Marks & Spencer, this spring brings some gorgeous colors and light fibers that are much more versatile and wearable ( as easy as garments ). Or alternatively, wear a pretty embroidered scarf and a more rugged-looking slimming clothing. This from Wiggy Kit is cheap at, but attractive for ideas.

Dear Lisa,
I just turned 70 and still wear ( Armani and Reiss ), colourful jackets ( Joe Brown ) and twin- colour shoes. Though, I hate the idea of looking like “mutton dressed up as lamb”. How do I?
– Linda
Dear Linda,
I appreciate your response and that you’re wearing cotton clothing. They’re a classic and there’s no reason you can’t wear them at any age. If you’re content with this blend of denim and elegance, it comes from making sure the jeans are in the best shape possible and making sure those jackets are very soft. You now stores at Reiss. Have you checked out their jackets? No cheap, but great fabrics and split, and they last for years. Try combining some beautiful, soft blouses with your trousers.
