The selection is expected to be much bigger and include more homecoming items than simply dresses because this year’s event will involve various schools. Prom dresses, men’s dress use, proper shoes, jewelry and hair equipment are all being collected.
The five participating colleges, which are unquestionably accepting gifts, will continue to collect until April 26. The series travel may be held two distinct vacation, April 20 and 27, at the Panama Methodist Church — 22 East Main Street, Panama — from 12: 30 p. m. to 2: 30 p. m.

The event from last year was made public through the night presentations for Clymer and Panama Schools, as well as on their individual blogs. Brunco claimed that one person’s grandma had brought in a lot of discounted gowns from BonTon while it was going out of business. Students and neighborhood members were also welcomed to contribute. Brunco and Keefe also shared the occasion on Instagram, and Brunco added that she hopes to receive a wide selection of clothes and matches this year with the assistance of the other college towns.
Brunco stated that donations can be made to any of the five schools ‘ major offices, noting that Frewsburg and Southwestern were contacted to join but that she and Keefe had not heard again, and that items will be made to the appropriate advisors.
Students who can’t afford to purchase a $600 or $700 prom dress will receive donations, according to Brunco. They may also obtain it for nothing by doing this. There is also the option to” transfer out” a outfit, so someone can bring in a gown to contribute and exchange it for a new one.
Brunco emphasized that the celebration is open to all students, even though it is intended for individuals who might not be able to afford game attire. Some brand new products will be available, including new beauty, offering students the opportunity to save and a variety of options.
“It’s not just this year’s variations”, Brunco said. Items donated will be from previous years as well, allowing students to choose from a variety of styles, and they won’t be limited to the styles in the stores this season.
Staff and students may assist with the two weekends of the event by helping to pick out and try on items and accessories at the Panama Methodist Church. This is a completely occasion for all students. Bruno thanked Keefe for being the one who organized the event.
“This is really Helen Keefe’s thought, and she is behind some tips that I use in my classroom”, Brunco said. Someone is welcome to attend this event, they say.
